Leaking when you cough, sneeze or run. Heaviness or pressure. Pain during sex. A core that doesn't feel like it reconnected after a baby. Scar tissue that still pulls, years later.

None of this is something you have to live with, and none of it is too small to bring to us. It is extremely common — and it is treatable.

Is this you?

  • You leak when you cough, sneeze, laugh or exercise
  • You feel heaviness or pressure, especially by the end of the day
  • Your core doesn't feel like it came back after having a baby
  • You've had a C-section and something still doesn't feel right
  • You're pregnant and want to prepare your body properly
  • Sex is painful, or you're avoiding it

What actually happens

  1. 1

    We talk first, properly

A full history in a private room. Nothing rushed, and nothing you raise will be treated as trivial.

  2. 2

    We assess what's actually happening

Including an internal examination if — and only if — you consent to one.

  3. 3

    You leave with a plan

Specific exercises, a clear explanation of what's going on, and an honest timeline.

About the assessment — and what's always your choice

A pelvic health assessment often includes an internal examination, because it's the most accurate way to see what those muscles are actually doing. It is always, entirely, your choice.

Nothing happens without your explicit consent, you can stop at any point for any reason, and there is a great deal we can assess and treat without one. If you'd rather not, say so — it won't be a difficult conversation.

You'll be seen in a private room by a female physiotherapist with additional training in pelvic health. Assessments are available in English and Punjabi.

Who you'll see

Jaspreet Dhillon is currently our only practitioner offering this service, so availability can be limited — booking ahead is worth it.

What patients say

I know Jaspreet and her knowledge on postpartum and women's health has been really obvious through our discussions. So eventually I decided that I needed to fix my issues so I went to see her.…

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need a referral?

No. You can book pelvic health physiotherapy directly.

  • Is the internal exam compulsory?

Never. It's the most accurate assessment, but it's your choice, it requires your explicit consent, and you can stop at any point. We can assess and treat a great deal without one.

  • My baby is three years old — is it too late?

No. We regularly treat women years and even decades after birth. Pelvic floor tissue responds to training at any stage; "too late" is not a thing here.

  • Is this covered by insurance?

Yes — it's physiotherapy, typically 95–100% covered by extended health benefits. Pelvic health sessions are $145.

  • Can I come while pregnant?

Yes, at any stage. Prenatal work is one of the most useful things you can do for both birth and recovery.

  • Will I see a woman?

Yes. Every physiotherapist at Joybody is a woman.
